It’s Friday again which means it’s time to look at what’s coming up in the wonderful world of Digital PR.

From Sleep Awareness Week to International Day of Happiness, here are some upcoming opportunities you could explore next week:

SLEEP AWARENESS WEEK 14TH MARCH – 20TH MARCH

What a wonderful week for all those who absolutely love a snooze, with National Napping Day on the 15th March and World Sleep Day on the 19th. Not only this, but March is also National Bed Month – speaking of which, this is making us very sleepy!

This is a perfect PR opportunity for health experts, offering great reactive opportunities to share key insights and knowledge on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Maybe, you could look to run a campaign that reveals the best podcasts or playlists to help you nod off (we’d sure listen to them!).

ONS CONSUMER PRICE INFLATION – 15TH MARCH

The Office of National Statistics (ONS) releases its overview of the latest annual Consumer Prices Index update, including owner occupiers’ housing costs (CPIH) weights, on the 15th March.

This is a fantastic reactive opportunity for those in the UK home, property, and finance sectors. With new information being released, there’s an opportunity to offer expert commentary and tips for those who are being affected.

Check out the ONS release, here.

ST PATRICKS DAY – 17TH MARCH

St. Patrick’s Day celebrates all things Irish, such as the amazing culture, the special food, and lively music, dancing, and drinking. Also – basically – everything bright green…shame it’s on a Wednesday this year!

This is a great opportunity to take advantage of all the fun. So, whether you’re revealing how much Guinness is consumed per minute in the name of celebration or discovering whether the luck of the Irish really exists, make sure to get your content out early as many will be jumping on the occasion.

RED NOSE DAY – 19TH MARCH

On Friday, 19th March, we’ll all be doing our bit to support Comic Relief. Through the power of entertainment, the campaign aims to keep children safe, healthy, and educated, which, this year, has never felt more important.

This is a great opportunity to share some entertaining and positive news stories, which we all definitely need right now.

So, whether you’re buying merch or holding a fundraiser, it’s just amazing to get involved and do your bit during these incredibly tough times.

Learn more about how you can get involved, here.

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF HAPPINESS – 20TH MARCH

On Saturday 20th March, we’ll all be celebrating the annual International Day of Happiness, across the globe… how nice does that sound?

So, whether you’re promoting the top habits to improve happiness or simply sharing positive vibes on your social channels, there are many different angles you can take to brighten someone’s day.

It’s important that we all do our best to make ourselves and everyone around us feel happy; whether it’s catching up with an old friend or simply performing a random act of kindness, one small action could make someone’s entire day!

Hopefully, you’ll find this helpful when planning content for the week ahead. Want to learn more about our PR work? Head over to our PR page here.
