With November just round the corner, winter is well and truly on its way. And what better a time to sit down with a hot drink and get up to date with all the best opportunities for us PRs to take advantage of this week.

1st November – National Authors Day

National Authors Day is a day to celebrate and give thanks to all the authors behind the books we all love.

A great time to create some great content for your clients. For example, you could create a piece on the most popular authors over the last year. Find out more here.

1st November – World Vegan Day

This awareness day was created in 1994 by Louise Wallis, who at the time was the chair of The Vegan Society. It is a day for people to celebrate their commitment to the vegan lifestyle and a great time to raise awareness of the benefits of veganism.

There are so many ways you can include veganism in great campaign ideas. For example, you could look at the impact that a vegan diet can have upon the environment or easy vegan mid-week meal recipe ideas.

3rd November- National Sandwich Day

Why not celebrate by having your favourite sandwich or even trying something new.

It’s perfect to use if you have any food or drink clients, why not discover the most popular unusual sandwiches or even popular sandwich fillings all over the world. To find out more, visit here.

5th November – Guy Fawkes Night

Also known as Bonfire night or Fireworks night, it is an evening of fireworks and socialising with family and friends.

It also offers opportunities for great campaign content for a wide variety of clients. For example, maybe to showcase the best firework displays or even ways to keep your pets calm and happy during the festivities.

6th November – National Stress Awareness Day

National Stress Awareness Day is a day for raising awareness of the effects of psychological distress and the best ways to manage it.

This is a great opportunity for any clients who work in HR, perhaps you could create a campaign around managing stress in workplace or possibly popular ways to destress. For more information, visit here.

Hopefully these have given you some campaign ideas for the upcoming week. Want to learn more about our PR work? Head over and check out our PR work, and get in touch to find out how we can help with your digital PR!
