It’s finally Friday, which means just one thing for us PR people: it’s time to take a look at what’s coming up in the exciting world of digital PR!

From Healthy Eating Week to Father’s Day, these key dates should help you create great campaign ideas and/or reactive opportunities for all your clients.

BNF Healthy Eating Week – 14th – 20th June

With the aim of taking the UK on a ‘healthier you’ journey, British Nutrition Foundation’s Healthy Eating Week is a great opportunity for several different industries to get involved in.

From sports to nutrition, this is the perfect opportunity for health-related clients, as you can offer expert commentary on how to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Alternatively, you might want to launch a campaign that focuses on the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. You could also compare different industries and analyse the impact different job roles have on our health and wellbeing.

NATIONAL BEER DAY – 15TH JUNE

We all know that the UK loves a good tipple! The 15th of June is National Beer Day, and with it also being the Euros, what a perfect opportunity for a fun campaign!

For hospitality clients, you could look at the UK’s favourite beer or the best beer to enjoy the football with, based on sales or customer data. In addition to this, for bigger campaign ideas you could look at the nation’s drinking habits, and if you want to get really creative, you could even create your own unique beer product.

NATIONAL CLEAN AIR DAY – 17th JUNE

With air pollution being the largest environmental health risk that we face today, National Clean Air Day is very important.

Perhaps you have an environmental or sustainability-focused client? Consider offering commentary on the importance of National Clean Air Day, as well as the things we can do to tackle air pollution.

FATHER’S DAY – 20TH JUNE

We can’t quite believe Father’s Day has come back around so quickly! As the UK celebrate their dads, there are endless PR opportunities to get involved in.

For retail-based clients, you could put together a Father’s Day gift-guide. Or, if you have a travel-based client, you could create a list of activities that families can do for some special father-child bonding!

Hopefully, you’ll find some inspiration from these ideas when planning content for the week ahead. Want to learn more about our PR work? Head over to our PR page here.
