“It’s Friday then… PR Round-Up (What)”🎵

It’s that time of the week again and you know what that means… our digital PR roundup is here. The end of February sees the end of Boost Your Self-Esteem Month and the return of Peaky Blinders, so let’s take a look at what’s happening next week.

Boost Your Self-Esteem Month – 1-27th of February

There won’t be many of us who don’t struggle with our own self-esteem from time to time. And with social media and the perceived perfection of it being a part of our everyday lives, self-esteem is affecting our mental health more and more.

This awareness event is celebrated throughout February, and not only is it a good cause that many of us can relate to, but it also provides a great opportunity for any industry to make a positive impact with its outreach.

Peaky Blinders – 26th of February

One of the most critically acclaimed and fan-favourite shows in recent history, not only in the UK but worldwide, is officially back on Sunday the 26th of February.

Season six of the historical fiction and crime drama, set in England (just after WW1), is the perfect opportunity for those in the entertainment/lifestyle industry. So, make sure you jump on this, by order of the c3 Blinders!

Russia vs Ukraine – Ongoing

With the tensions between the neighbouring countries not appearing to be calming down anytime soon, it’s anybody’s guess as to where this situation leads.

It’s definitely an event to keep your eye on for a lot of industries, especially finance/business industries, as the tensions have had big economic effects by themselves, with undoubtedly more to come.

USA GDP Q4 – 24th of February

With inflation reaching levels not seen in the U.S. in decades, all eyes are on the economy after less than desirable jobs and economic recovery post-COVID-19.

The GDP Q4 results will give a good indicator of the direction of the American economy and will affect the stock market. So, this is a key newsjacking opportunity for the financial industry.

We hope you find this useful and can take advantage of these opportunities! If you’d like to see more of our work, head on over to our PR page.
