It’s that time again… what’s coming up in the world of Digital PR next week?

From Burns Night to new Covid regulations taking place, here’s how you can use upcoming opportunities to your best advantage!

BURNS NIGHT, TUESDAY the 25TH of JANUARY

Burns Night is annually celebrated on January the 25th. And particularly in Scotland, as it commemorates the life and work of Scottish poet, Robert Burns.

This is a fantastic PR opportunity for any clients in the food industry to comment or provide information on a traditional Burns Night supper. Perhaps create a piece on how to create a Burns supper at home, or a roundup of the best events surrounding this celebration?

AUSTRALIA DAY, WEDNESDAY the 26TH of JANUARY

The official National Day of Australia, Australia Day, is annually celebrated on the 26th of January. This holiday celebrates all things Australia, and it’s a great opportunity for clients in the travel industry or any Australia-based clients you may have.

ONS CRIME STATISTICS, THURSDAY the 27TH of JANUARY

ONS releases its Crime in England and Wales report next week, detailing levels of crime in these areas. Plus, the impact of Coronavirus on crime, and people’s perceptions of crime as a whole.

This is a fantastic opportunity for clients in many sectors, including property or motoring, to comment on the new crime statistics and how these have changed.

PLAN B MEASURES SCRAPPED, THURSDAY the 27TH of JANUARY

Thursday the 27th of January marks the day where the government scraps their ‘Plan B’ measures and returns to ‘Plan A’. The major changes here involve the end of compulsory mask-wearing, no more working from home and vaccine certificates are also no longer required for public venues.

This is a good opportunity for clients in the health, retail or education sector to comment on these new measures and how they may impact the nation.

We hope that you found this round-up useful when considering your content for the week ahead. If you’d like to see more of our work, simply head over to our PR page.
