To drive links, coverage, and boost SEO visibility for fasthosts, we created a digital PR campaign to highlight the biggest fake influencers on social media.
Using social media data we were able to reveal the celebrities with the highest percentage of fake Instagram followers.
We pulled the data into an interactive asset which we hosted on fasthost’s website and outreached globally.
The campaign landed in publications including Forbes, Slide.ca, MSN and more. It was also featured on The Philip DeFranco podcast which has 3.1 million subscribers.
We gained coverage in 11 countries, including Greece, UK, Spain, Italy, Australia, Austria, Cyprus, USA, Sweden and Canada.
