Whilst it may be a bank holiday Monday (who doesn’t love a long weekend?), the world of PR never stops. Here’s how you can utilise some of the upcoming opportunities to your advantage.

NATIONAL WALKING MONTH

SUN AWARENESS WEEK – 3rd – 9th MAY 2021

The British Association of Dermatologists (BAD) run a national campaign to raise awareness of skin illnesses. Whilst the campaign runs between April and September, it also includes Sun Awareness Week in May.  This year it runs from 3rd – 9th May and aims to encourage people to check their skin whilst also educating people around the dangers of the sun, sunburn, excessive tanning, and sunbeds.

For those in the health and medical sectors, this may be one for you to share your expert insight on a very important but sensitive topic.

NATIONAL STAR WARS DAY, TUESDAY 4TH MAY 2021

May the 4th be with you! Whether you love a pun or not, the 4th May is Star Wars Day, a day dedicated to celebrating George Lucas’ Star Wars media franchise.

This a great opportunity for experts within the entertainment sector, or for brands wanting to create content focused on the best scenes or favourite characters.
