Driving links and coverage across the UK for Canine Cottages

With a brief to raise awareness of the Canine Cottages brand and their dog-friendly accommodation offering across the UK, we took advantage of the staycation and dog ownership boom, to secure links and coverage.

We utilised existing informative blog content on travel and pet-related tips. This included the best places to visit based on your preference, and the best ways to travel with pets.

We then shared this with the media to drive backlinks to each site, alongside our planned campaigns.

For people travelling with their pooch for the first time, we took Canine Cottages’ tips on easing pooch anxiety and shared the insight with the media.

Winter walks

Dogs love to be walked, no matter the weather. Therefore, we utilised this blog on the UK’s best winter walks and shared the locations with the media. Each time the UK had bad weather, we went back out with the tips, securing further results.

Pamper your pooch

We teamed up with an expert to reveal the ways in which a dog can boost humans’ moods and vice versa, supported with additional tips taken from the blog on ways to pamper your pooch to make them feel good.

Cat friendly dog breeds

With Google searches for ‘best dogs with cats’ increasing, we utilised an onsite blog and revealed the best cat-friendly dog breeds to the media, with the Beagle and Golden Retriever coming out on top.
