Superior Wellness were looking for a partner to drive links and coverage across the UK and US for their luxury hot tub brand. We focused on the subjects of health and wellbeing with our campaigns, capitalising on increased focus on this in the media.
The wellness sector is competitive due to the number of brands trying to gain attention. So, for Superior Wellness, we adopted our ‘always on’ approach. Our strategy consisted of informative proactive emailers, data-led campaigns and reactive commentary. We always focussed on trends and our audience interests such as health, beauty, sports and decor to stay relevant and showcase brand expertise. We also incorporated celebrity interviews into our strategy given our audiences interests in TV and entertainment.
Here are some of our standout tactics:
Proactive PR
We used proactive PR to gain some quick-win media coverage utilising the brand’s expertise. With wellness trends and our audience interests at the heart of each campaign, we covered everything from methods to avoid burnout and healthy recipes to cost-affective ways to look after yourself.
We’ve combined these insights to form press-worthy stories including tips on inexpensive ways to transform your garden into an oasis and how to create a spa getaway to interviewing Olympians on their health hacks, revealing the biggest beauty trends , simple hangover cures to try and avoiding burnout whilst hosting.
Celebrity partnerships
Working alongside high-profile celebrities, we interviewed them on their fitness and wellbeing regimes, turning the interview content into coverage that linked back to the Superior Wellness site. We spoke to celebrities like Love Island’s Amy Hart, Hollyoaks & Eastenders’ star Jamie Lomas and former Miss Universe Amy Willerton and we’ve delivered a series of wellbeing focussed interviews.
The content for these was then used to outreach to the media delivering a significant number of links across sites such as Yahoo, The Mirror, Daily Star and AOL.
Selfcare Capitals – U.S.
Location led content has consistently proven to be successful for link building activity with our US campaigns, as it allows us to target location specific media.
For this campaign we delivered an index to rank the states for the prioritisation of self-care, with California (unsurprisingly) taking the top spot.
The campaign was hosted onsite in a blog.
