Swoop Funding came to us to elevate their brand authority as well as their CEO’s visibility in the competitive U.S. finance landscape. To do this, we created a three-pronged PR strategy centred around proactive, reactive, and data-driven index campaigns.

We developed a robust U.S. strategy that allowed us to land in high authority sites including industry-focused publications such as America’s Business Journals and Fox Business.

We adopted an ‘always on’ strategic approach to our expert commentary where we focused on crafting expert-led insight backed up by data to generate high-value media placements.

Our PRs built a strong relationship with the Swoop Funding team to ensure we quickly jumped on timely opportunities to position their CEO as a credible source of expertise in the finance and investment space.

We executed a data led approach to our digital PR strategy, with a strong emphasis on large-scale data campaigns.

Our U.S. team collaborated with the Swoop Funding team to identify organic focuses for our Digital PR efforts. By analysing specific keywords and focus areas with growth potential, we targeted opportunities to improve traffic share, strengthen authority, and enhance URL ratings across key pages.

We supported each planned campaign with insightful blog content and expert commentary from Swoop Funding’s CEO, enhancing authority and strengthening E-E-A-T signals. We also were able to quickly devise bespoke commentary from Swoop’s CEO on our data, for example for Fox Business we were able to offer exclusive comments on each state and why they ranked within our start up capitals report.

Standout campaigns are below.

Reactive PR: Trump Tariffs

When Donald Trump entered the White House, we saw an immediate opportunity to leverage our experts at Swoop Funding using reactive PR. With policy changes looming, we anticipated the impact on SMBs and investors and moved quickly to position industry experts at the forefront of the conversation. We have also used our existing relationships to make journalist aware of topics we can cover, reaching out when the news cycle is appropriate.

  • Identified import tariffs as a major issue that would impact businesses and consumers.
  • Crafted a reactive comment piece breaking down the consequences of the tariffs.
  • Positioned CEO Andrea Reynolds and Daire Burke as a key voice in the discussion.
  • Proactively reached out to journalists covering Trump’s economic policies

To further amplify our expert commentary, we have utilised Google Alerts to stay on top of tariff-related conversations. This has enabled Swoop’s experts to analyse the impact on various industries and provide insights across a range of publications, from B2B to B2C—resulting in multiple TV interviews.

Startup Capitals of America

Understanding Swoop Funding’s goal of securing coverage on high-authority, business-focused sites, we analysed 11 key data factors to determine the best states for startups in 2025.

Leveraging our expertise in the U.S. market, we identified that state-specific angles consistently perform well.

Using insights from our data team, we crafted tailored releases for each state. For example, the angle “Texas is the best state to start a business” resonated with local Texas, business, and national outlets, leading to placements in Fox News, NBC, and Business Texas.

Additionally, our report was featured in Speaker.com radio segments across multiple states, further amplifying its reach.

This campaign is still in its early outreach phase and has already secured 40+ links, with additional angles set to launch over the next two months. The average campaign DA across all our results currently sits at 65, with further high-quality placements expected.
