Leeds Digital Festival kicked off this week, showcasing the city’s dynamic digital sector with a two week programme of marketing and tech events. As part of the festival we hosted Digital Bites, an event featuring 10-minute talks from those looking to get into public speaking. Located at Banyan in the heart of the city, we had a full house, with tickets for the event selling out in advance. Thank you to everyone who joined us for a fun evening of talks and relaxed networking. We can’t wait to welcome you to the next one!
The talks
The premise of the event is to shine the spotlight on new speakers, providing a welcoming environment for those wanting to take to the stage with just 10-minute speaking slots. All of our speakers had pitched to speak and had little to no experience of conference speaking. We had a varied agenda covering everything from content strategy and paid social to why your team needs neurodiversity.
