Everyone loves a Friday, right? Especially when our digital PR round-up helps to prepare you for what’s to come, ready for when Monday arrives.

As always, we’ve picked out our favourite events and national days set to take place next week. And you can use these for reactive and proactive PR opportunities, as well as for new angles for any existing campaigns.

Spoiler alert: the 22nd to the 28th of November is great for those who have international clients, primarily those based in the states…

NATIONAL ESPRESSO DAY – 23RD OF NOVEMBER 2021, USA

Calling all coffee connoisseurs, next Tuesday is National Espresso Day in America. This is the perfect chance for those of you with relevant clients to push out some proactive PR.

You could reveal the nation’s favourite type of coffee per state. Or build perhaps work on a creative piece that highlights diverse ways to introduce espresso powder into baking, or even ice cream. The world really is your oyster or coffee bean… if preferred!

THANKSGIVING – 25TH OF NOVEMBER 2021, INTERNATIONAL

This is another great occasion for digital PRs with foodie clientsand the best part? The media love to share Thanksgiving-related content, almost as much as we love creating it

Try to think outside of the box with this one, thoughas you want to make your content stand out. Create something along the lines of the most controversial turkey recipes to get people talking, or even discuss the great cranberry sauce debate (if you dare!).

BLACK FRIDAY – 26TH OF NOVEMBER 2021, INTERNATIONAL

One of our favourite things about Black Friday, aside from all of the wonderful discounts, of course, is that it means Christmas isn’t too far behind. Thus, providing lots of opportunities for retail and finance experts to jump on some newsjacking.

However, unless your client has the authority to be speaking on your campaign topic, it might be wise to sit this one out, as the competition does tend to get a little crazy…

SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY – 26TH OF NOVEMBER 2021, USA

Entering its eleventh year in the USA* on Saturday, there has never been a better time to talk about the importance of shopping small. And that’s exactly what Small Business Saturday aims to encourage.

This is another great day for those in the retail, finance (as well as business sectors) to get involved in. You could perhaps highlight the hotspots for small businesses across the states in a cool graphic. Or create a proactive piece on the environmental importance of shopping small. The possibilities are endless…

*Small Business Saturday also takes place in the UK on the following Saturday. If you would like to get involved, you can find out more here

We hope that these events and holidays help to spark inspiration, and get your clients’ names out there! Want to learn more about what we do and how we can help you? Check out our digital PR work, and reach out to us if you’re interested in a chat.
